Within the guidelines of Equal Opportunity Employment, Excel has established validated testing procedures that are administered fairly and are equitable to all of our candidates. Every candidate must first pass an integrity test that screens for substance abuse, violence, theft, workers’ compensation fraud, and dishonesty. Upon request, Excel will perform specific tests on manufacturing/light industrial applicants to determine such things as fine motor abilities, manual dexterity, color blindness, and depth perception. Excel will also design customized tests for workers required to have special dexterity or specialized knowledge such as military specifications.

In addition to any required testing, our skilled and experienced staffing supervisors perform an in-depth personal interview. We have found that this is by far the best way to determine availability, interests and career goals.
